Welcome to TownVocal!
Our goal is to create a platform for local musicians, podcasters and original programming you can’t find anywhere else.
The process to become a part of the TownVocal community is very simple; we’ve created a step-by-step guide to walk you through it.
Step 1: Receive an E-mail from Us
This first step is easy; you’re already here! You’ve created something worth listening to; music, a podcast, or something else that will be interesting to hear on TownVocal.
Step 2: Schedule a Quick Call or Meeting
We’d love to get to know you, your work, and how we can work well together!
If you haven’t already, please reach out to our Station Manager (stnmngr@townvocal.com) to schedule a quick phone call, video chat, or in-person meeting.
Step 3: Schedule an Interview
A big part of TownVocal’s charm is for the audience the chance to get to know the artists involved, in order to build a sense of community; our listeners want to learn about your background as well as your music.
After our first meeting, we’ll schedule a short recorded interview to use for clips to play before each song, as well as to post in full on the TownVocal YouTube channel.
Listeners won’t just get to hear your work; they’ll get to hear more about you as an artist and a member of the local community.
Step 4: Provide Us with Your Master Tracks
In order to feature your music or podcast on our station, we’ll need access to the files.
Accepted file types are .MP3, .MP2, .wav, and .m4a; you can send them via Google Drive, email, or whatever other method works best for you!
Step 5: Provide Us with any Other Links & Information
You’re helping us build something, so we’d like to help you as well. We’d like to build an artist profile for our website, so that listeners can find where else to support you.
If you have a merch site, a Patreon, a Ko-fi, or some other way people can help support your music, let us know!
